lululemon Groove Pants

While we're on lululemon, might as well review their Groove Pants as well! I've been very busy at school lately and haven't had time to compile the list of entries for the giveaway yet. I will draw the winner soon!

When I first saw the prices on these pants, I thought it was totally crazy. Even now, I still don't think it's worth as much as it's priced, but I do have a lot of good things to say about their pants. I eventually ended up buying mine on Craigslist. Just for the records, It's a new pair of pants, I would never buy a used pair of pants (especially ones that are this tight).

First of all, I absolutely love the fact that they put a gusset between the legs of the pants. What's a gusset you ask?? Well that's the diamond shaped extra piece of fabric between the legs on the pants to prevent it from riding up during your work out or just walking in general. I've been hearing a lot of controversy about their, "Say No to Camel Toe" ad campaign, but let's be honest here, ladies -- it's just part of our anatomy. I can't speak for you, but I definitely don't want to be flaunting that around. Therefore, I thought the gusset was an ingenious idea! To learn more about it, click here.

Second, the technical fabric used for these pants are called "luon". The fabric can stretch all 4-ways, is moisture wicking and pre-shrunk. No wonder it's lululemon's signature fabric. I've noticed for some other workout pants that I've tried on before, I can see my underwear line when I bend over. Sometimes, I can see my entire underwear including the pattern on it - LOL. I can still see them when I bend over with a pair of Groove Pants on, but it's MUCH MUCH less noticeable than most other types of workout pants. Also, when pants are this tight, your underwear line is kind of hard to avoid.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with my lululemon pants other than the price. I probably won't be getting another pair of these bad boys for a really long time. Try to see if you can get it anywhere cheaper (e.g. eBay, Craigslist, through a friend that works at lululemon, etc.)
